Biography

1961   Born in Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan

1982   Graduate Kyoto Sangyo University B.D. of Law

1982   Begin training of sushi at Toyama's home "Isozushi"

1986   Restaurant Suntory gave me post of sushi chef. Move to Boston, US

1990   Transferred to restaurant Suntory at Atlanta as a contracted sushi director

1993   Established Kosugi Restaurant Group, Inc. in Georgia, USA

1995   SOTO Japanese Restaurant (Atlanta, Georgia) opened

2006   SOTO closed, moved to New York

2007   SOTO (New York, Manhattan) opened

2016   December, SOTO Closes New York at the end of lease contract

2018   February, Move back to Japan to prepare opening new SOTO in Toyama

2019   April, New SOTO opened in Toyama city
